About Gaines Legal Group

I am an active-duty Foreign Service Officer and the founder of Gaines Legal Group, where I help connect legal talent with the right opportunities. My background in diplomacy has given me extensive experience in crisis management, strategic problem-solving, and relationship-building—skills that naturally lend themselves to the recruiting world.

Growing up in a Foreign Service family, I developed a global perspective early on, which has shaped my ability to assess talent and match professionals with firms where they can thrive. I hold a graduate degree from the University of Texas’ Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I speak fluent French and Portuguese, as well as passable Mandarin.

I approach recruiting with discretion, adaptability, and a strong focus on making the right connections. My goal is to help attorneys and law firms find lasting, successful partnerships.
